Asiah Thomas-Mandlman is a versatile artist whose work spans from visual art to vocal performance. Through her “don’t know, try it” approach, Asiah infuses her creative interests with a spirit of exploration.
 
Her distinctive portrait work has been showcased at venues including the Dona Ana Arts Council in Las Cruces, Shockboxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach, CA, and Star City El Paso, TX. Asiah’s commitment to her craft was further recognized through her acceptance into the Averill Park Arts, Letters, and Numbers residency in New York, and through her most recent honor: The Emerging Artist Award.
 
In addition to her visual art, Asiah has made notable contributions to the music scene. She’s has the honor of performing with the local jazz band Lush Life Quintet and graced the stage at Las Cruces’ Music In The Park series for both 2023 and 2024. 
 
Her performances were also featured prominently at the Juneteenth Jazz Festival. This year, performing her debut jazz single “Better-off With You”.
 
Among her many artistic endeavors, Asiah treasures the accomplishment of producing a series called Coffeeshop Concerts, which, despite its brief run, brought her immense joy. Additionally, she finds fulfillment in her ongoing journey learning to play the bass, continually expanding her creative horizons.
 
Asiah Thomas-Mandlman’s art and music reflect a dynamic and evolving practice, driven by a passion for discovery and a commitment to embracing the unknown.
